The party, composed large ly of South Carolina men, was hail ed in front of Cliffside's school build ing by the entire high school body, who gave yells and songs for the party and the Black Bear Trail. Included in the party were Glenn Grier, Hugh Miller, Charles O. Hear on, Frank Hodges, B. T. Earle, W. B. Potter, J. 0. Angel, J. P. King, and R. P. Beal. Local men joining the party were Messrs. Z. O.Jenkins, J. W. Mills, J. C. Hames and Dr. J. S. Rudisill. The motorcade continued to Lin ville where it was entertained at a luncheon given by Hugh Mcßea, of Wilmington, president of the Black Rear Trail. Edna Tinsley: "Miss Curtis my hat is miles too large." Miss Cuprtis: "Well Edna, I told you the bandes would be here in a few days." Edna: "Huh, we didn't have to wear that last year and besides one part of the uniform won't help an other part to fit."
