Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check to the amount of 5 per cent of the amount bid, and not less than $250.00, payable to the Treasurer of Forest City, North Carolina, without recourse. The town prefers to let the entire work in one contract, but reserves the right to waive tech nicalities and' let the work in parts to separate bidders, or let such parts of the work as is considered to the best interest of the town and re serves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractors are cautioned to exam ine the plans and specifications thor oughly, form of contract, bond and conditions under which the work will be done before bidding.
