A pretty wedding took; place yesterday morn ing at the home T of Mr. and Mrs. Jf. E. Hendren at Turnersburg. IS miles from A Statesville, when their daugh ter. Miss Jessie Hendren of Charlotte, became the bride of Mr. Jacob Ed win Griffith of Baltimore. - -The cere mony was z. performed t In the parlor of the home, which was decorated for the occasion, in te presence of quite a party of friends and relatiires, Dr. Charles Anderson of Statesville ' of ficiating. The ring service was used. The . bridal pair entered the room alone to the strain of a wedding march played by Miss Florence Arm field of Statesville. The bride wore a handsome coat suit of blue and car ried huge white chrysanthemums.
