Another day of activity and higher prices. In every nv tiie most satisfactory two days of ':- month ri a selle A buyer was able to buy r to sil any quantity of o the average trade this Is use for rejoicing. As was to cotton came out over S1 general change in feeling such as to increase the demand this abs irbed all the cotton. The feature today was January. Sooie 90, OWaotices were started but apparently al the cotton was wanted for January SHCl up UU III'- d!l tiuuui o;4 LCUIC". He people who delivered January have bought March at a big discount, and will take the cotton back later if its still here in New York. In case the January people ship the cotton out they will have to get cotton here to day, deliver or come into the market and buy back their March. It looks as though there was a short interest still in Janv.arv which will make that od- rion unsettled all the month. Shorts Till get nervous anrl may rush into rarer. Then the amount of cotton held hack can be determined as the trade is waiting for the January corner here to send in cotton for delivery. But in meantime receipts are more moderate it as long as to accumulate the in creased speculation is likely to ad ran :e prices. Everything will depend on movement later. As long as receipts are so moderate and January is no longer a bull menace buyers will have the better end of the bargain. With in ceased trade and a better business in every direc tion, we are inclined to the buying side on all weak spots. All that is needed is trade to put the price up. For weeks there has been no business. Now that speculative activity is awa kened there should be better chances of making money on the buying side than there has been in some time. Unitil we can see an increase in re ceipts and more cotton than demand we believe in buying on all breaks. The trade seems to be occupied now in at tempting to ascertain how much the crop is likely to fall short of current high estimates, but this is not to say that there are none left who still be lieve that there are chances for an immense yield. However the weight of opinions is in the opposite direction and it is in cumbent upon the subsequent move ment of cotton to substantiate the lar ger calculation otherwise, in the face of omproved conditions in the princi pal channels of trade, it will be a dif ficult matter to prevent the establish ment of a decidedly higher level of prices later on. A sure sign of approaching revolt and serious trouble in your system is nervousness, sleeplessness, or stom ach upsets. Electric Bitters will quick ly dismember the troublesome causes. It never fails to tone the stomach, regulate the Kidneys and Bowels, stimulate the Liver, and clarify the blood. Run down systems benefit particularly and all the usual attend ing aches vanish under its searching and thorough effectiveness. Electric Bitters is only 50c, and that is re turned if it don't give perfect satisfac tion. Guaranteed by Burwell & Dunn Co., druggists. Women as Well as Men Are Made Miserable by Kidney Trouble. Kidney trouble preys upon the mind, dis courages and lessens ambition; beauty, vigor ana cneertulness soon disappear when the kid neys are out of order or diseased. Kidney trouble has become so prevalent that it is net uncommon for a child to be born afflicted with weak kid neys. If the child urin ates too often if tViff urine scalds the flesh or if, when the child reaches an age when it should be able to control the passage, it is yet afflicted with bed-wetting, depend upon it. the cause of the difnculty is kidney trouble, and the first step should be towards the treatment of these important organs. This unDleasant trouble is due to a diseased condition of the kidneys and bladder and not to a habit as most people suppose. Women as well as men are made mis erable with kidney and bladder trouble, and both need the same great remedy. The mild and the immediate effect of SwampRoot is soon realized. It is sold by druggists, in fifty cent and one dollar sizes.
