No person or persons-, excepting those in professional attendance upon the sick should be allowed to visit any dwelling, building or place "which Is quarantined, or hold commpnication or intercourse with any person or thing exposed to such disease without the knowledge and consent of the health department. Physicians and patient should promptly avail themselves of the means afforded by the health depart ment of having bacteriological exam inations made in all suspected cases and especially diphtheria and typhoid fecer, both for, the . good of the pa tient and the sifety of the public. ' All fruits, vegetables, groceries and in fact any and all eatables should be protected from filth, dust and flies, and public sentiment should so demand by refusing to purchase goods 'from dealers who do not comply with this demand. v : F.
