Electric Bitters is a medicine
suited for any season, but perhaps
more generally noeded, when the,
largviid exhausted feeliiip; prevails,
vhen the liver is torpid and slug-gi-
h and the need of a tonic and
iterative is felt. A prompt usr3 of
this medicine has often averted
long an 1 perhaps fatal bilious fevers
Nu medicine will act more surely in
counteracting and freeing the system
from the material poison. Headache
indigestion, constipation, dizziness

That there is a split among the
negroes on the county and perhaps
the State ticket is certain. The
cause, it is alleged, is that campaign
funds have been put in the hands
of would-ba leaders to be used for
campaign purposes, but that said
funds were appropriated to personal
use. This was too much for some
of the colored voters, who had been
led to expect a part of Hanna's
dough, and they resolved not to be
sold and delivered without knowii g
something about the market price.
A meeting of the disgruntled was
called for last night, but for some
reason was postponed to Monday
night at which time complete or
ganization will be effected. The
Standard was informed this morn
ing by several of the bolting f-ction
that at least ven?y fire n egrets in
town vrould support the f-Jli Dluc
cratic county ticket with the excep
teon of Sheriff.
