The worst; part tof the baseball
game Friday afternoon was the ac
cident which befell Karl Johnson.
While taking his ! turn at the bat
the ball accidentally bit him near
the bacjc of the head, almost knock

and the lady pitcher instantane
ously realized that! Karl was hurt.
He became yery sick for a while,
but rallied and returned to tbe
grounds. He seemed as sane as any
one then, but that night he became
unconscious and a physician was
called. j During the latter part of
the night he rested better.
