Church met at the home of Mrs. Ruben Ziglar Tues day night September 27. The fol lowing program was well render ed: Song—"Help Somebody Today" —Society. Bible Reading—Wil lie Hall. Discussions and plans were made for a play, "Old Maids Convention" which will be given in the near future. Mrs. C. R. Darr was appointed director of the play. An interesting contest was con ducted with Mrs. C. E. Eaton be ing prize winner. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Steele and Miss Mildred Mabe visited fiends and relatives near Ayers ville Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Hawkins had as their dinner guests Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. D. S. Priddy of Dan bury, Mr. and Mrs. Hassell Haw kins and family of Thomasville, also Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Garner, recent brid*i, was amazed as little Agne s Ziglar name rolling a little wheelbarrow loaded with towels up to her side. Mrs. Garner received many beau tiful towels and a luncheon set from members of the Society. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Lincoln Brown. The hostess served delicious re- freshments, The Willing Workers class of Delta M. E. Church met Friday night at the home of Miss Naomi Priddy with Miss Margaret Ver non as joint hostess. A very in teresting program was well rend ered by various members. Many games were played and enjoyed. Contests were conduct ed after which delicious refresh ments were served.
