It is not good propaganda, and does not add to the general spirit of progressiveness. We rather suspect that Henderson will be short cne warehouse certainly until after the war. Those who are acquainted with Henderson tobacco men and their zeal for plugging for their own market will feci, however, that at the proper time steps will be taken (o restore these sales facilities to this 75-year-old auction center. It will bp a matter : for the tobacco people t<> answer [ and they may br willing to wait a I while to lear-i just how far the gov. crnmcnt iniends lo go toward nulli[ fying the auction system itself before fresh investments'are made in j properties of this kind. That may I be an important consideration in j the course of the luturo in this resport.
