PLANKED FRANKFURT5 J lb. large frank furls 1 teaspoon salt 6 slices bacon V* teaspoon pepper 4 cups dry bread cubes Sage lo taste 3 Ibis, chopped onion Vi cup melted fal 1 Vi cups finely - Hot water or stock to > chopped celery moisten Combine bread, onion, celery, and seasonings; add fat and sufficient liquid to moisten. Toss gently to mix. Pile dressing on a wooden plank and bed frankfurts onto dressing; lay strips of bacon over top. At each end of plank arrange onions which have been parboiled 15 minutes.
