The demand for Henderson increases. Our town really needs such an institution and we must have it. Its establishment would prove a suc cess for all parties concerned. Let vis have the hotel. Property holders especially should re member that they are vitally interested in the future growth of the town, and that by continuing to give aid to manufactures they will likewise increase the value of their real estate. He is a sound judge of law, quick to grasp a legal problem, and while he is ready in his decisions, he is at the ! same time deliberate and sure. The ' prompt and vigorous manner in which he dispatches business makes him a favorite ! with tax-payers and law-abiding citizens generally. It i3 no compliment to a gen tleman of Judge Avery's reputation and ' ability to say that his high qualifications e?r.iaently fit hiia for the Bench, or any other office within the gift of the people. This is the first time Judge Avery has held court here, but he did not come amongst us a stranger by any mean?. resent the State and business was at once proceeded with.
