Hollister's Rocky Mountain Tea makes you well, keeps you well. 35 cents. Parker's Two Drug Stores. A RELIABLE MEDICINE. An Opinion that Should be of Interest to Every Person in Henderson. So many patent medicines and adver tised cures are now offered to the public that our readers should be glad to know the opinion of a man who has spent years in handling them and profit by his advice. Our local druggist, Mr. W. W. Parker, says: "After having sold drugs, and all kinds and makes of medicines for so many years, naturally we have learned some thing about them their value and power to cure, and we want to say to the read ers of the Gold Leaf that if the people of Henderson only realized the real cura tive and strength-creating power of our cod liver oil preparation, Vinol, we would not have clerks enough in our store to fill the demand for it." Continued Mr. Parker, "You see, Vinol is not a patent medicine, and it actually contains all the life-giving, body-building and strength-creating properties of cod liver oil actually taken from fresh cods' livers, but without adrop of the system clogging, nauseating oil. Vinol makes rich, red blood, and tones op and invig orates every organ in the body. In the strongest manner we unhesitat ingly endorse and guarantee Vinol to in crease the appetite, cure stomach trou bles, give strength and renewed vitality to the aged, build up puny children and run-down persons, make the weak strong, cure chronic coughs, colds and bronchitis or refund to the purchaser every dollar paid for it. "This shows our faith in Vinol, and we can only ask the people of Henderson to try ;Vinol on our guarantee." W. W. Parker, Druggist, To the Trustees of Henderson Episcopal Church. GARY. : Manager. The Contemporary Club. The Contemporary Club met with Mr. W. S. Parker Monday night. The attendance was the largest of any meeting yet held nor has a more edi fying and enjoyable evening been spent by the Club. Papers were read by Prof. Akers on "The Sanity of Hamlet," and by Dr. Coggeshall on "The Psycological Phenomena of the Subliminal Self." These brought out interesting discussions and were pro nounced among the finest papers that have been presented. Prof. Akers inclined to the opinion that Hamlet was not insane he feignred insanity for a purpose. There was "method in his madness," but so true was the counterfeit that it was believed by many to be genuine. The paper of Dr. Coggeshall was out of the ordi nary and while.it did not have to do with ghosts many strange and unac countable circumstances were cited to show that man has a subconscious, or subliminal self, as well as a con scious self. The phenomena manifest ing itself in various forms to bear out this idea he grouped under different headings as hypotism, spiritualism, mental telepethy, dreams, etc. But we shall not undertake to discuss Dr. Coggeshall's paper lest we do him in justice. By a vote of the Club its publication in the Gold Leaf was re quested and in a future issue we will give our readers the opportunity to read it for themselves. The Club accepted an invitation to hold the next meeting with Dr. F. R. Harris. TO CURE A COLD IN ONE DAY. Take LAXATIVE BR0M0 quiuiue Tablets. Druggists refund money if it fails to cure. E. W.
