We are sure that the readers of The News-Herald, and especially those of Albemarle and nearby terri tory, will read with Interest the news that this town Is to have another cot ton buyer this fall. This additional cotton buyer Is Mr. A. B. Fairley, of Monroe. Mr. Fairley Is a son ot the late Mr. J. M. Fairley of Monroe, who was well known by many Stanly people as cotton buyer, and young Mr. Fairley was brought up in the cotton business under his father. Mr. Fairley has not only had wide expe rience in buying cotton, but he has traveled throughout the country call ing upon the laire cotton mills with samples of cotton, and is therefore in close touch with the cotton buy ers of America. He will work. It Is said, in close touch with his broth ers, who are cotton buyers at Mon roe and Salisbury, and this will serve as a great advantage to him as well as Albemarle and Stanly county. Mr. Fairlev has secured an office In the Trust Building to Ihe rear of the Al- b -marie Real Estate and Insurance Co. H Is hoped that the coming of Mr. Fairley mny be the means of put ting the Albemarle cotton market up to that of the best markets of the home and loyalty to Jesus Christ as King and Savior, which virtue he ex emplified in his life and In hi death. A large concourse of neighbors, rel atives and friends attended the fu neral. M. A Prescription. If you are poor work. If you are rich continue to work. If you are burdened with seeming ly unfair responsibilities work. If you are happy keep right on working. If disappointments come work. If sorrow overwhelms you and loved one seem not true work. When faith falter and reason fails work. I When dreams are shattered and ' hope seems dead work. J No matter what ails you work. Work is the greatest material remody available. I Work will cure both mental and physical afflictions. Silent Partner. j Stoma nTlrlghl. !
