The revival has been conducted so quietly that a great number probably did not know that a revival was in prog ress. The minister began the meet- ing and preached for the first week. IVeceding this was a week of song service. later Rev. J. E. Reynolds of the First Christian Church at Wilmington N. All have work-1 lurtK(se The Christian church has a loyal and working bunch' of folks. Although busy in their I gardens, working in the mills! and stores, they stotnl loyally by the revival. ! Mr. T. W. Jernigan conducted the singing during the entire meeting and the church renders him a vote of thanks, while to Misses Lucy Taylor and Mattie Baird who faithfully presided at the piano is rendered due appre ciation. Rev. and Mrs. J. A. Cargill, of the Christian Church of Little ton, helped to make the meeting a great success. Rev. Cargill by reading the lessons and prayer and for preaching one sermon and to Mrs. Cargill for her sweet solos. Rev. C. H. Trueblood, of the Roanoke Rapids Baptist Church preached one sermon. Our meetings in the community have always begun on Easter Sunday. Taken altogether the meeting w as one of the best ever conducted here, and the church has far outgrown any other church in the community.
