; 0n Christmas eve there was
Christmas tree at the Christian
! r,hurch. The tre was beautiful.
j t ;,,hts of different hues were
pa(.ed all trough the tree and
colored lights were placed in
the regular sockets, which made
a very beautiful picture. There
were a few recitations, the pas
tor nave a hhorl address and
then came the distribution of
presents. The public bad
been invited t) make use of
the tree in giving presents to
their friends. The presents
were distributed after which
each Sunday school pupil was
eiven three hairs of candv and
fruit. This was made possible
through a very generous gift of
seventy five dollars,' -($?MA)
from the Rosemaay Mfg. Co.
The church presented Miss
Lucy Taylor with a beautiful
wrist watch for her faithful
service as pianist. The ladies
Class presented their teacher
Mr. Killebrew with a handsome
safety razor. The pastor of the
church was presented with a
gift of $25.00 in cash, which in-
eluded an offering taken that
night. All enjoyed the accasion.
