C. McCracken Mr. J. C. McCracken of Qualla, died suddenly Thursday at the home of his son E. G. McCracken of Dillsboro. He is survived by three sons, E. G., L. C. of En field, Mass, and Frank of Barber ton Ohio and four daughters, Mrs. C. C. Fisher, Beta, Mrs. Walker Brown, Canton, Mrs. Clarence Morrow, Canton.and Mrs. Miller Hall, Qualla. Interment was in Iron Duff cemetery. Bobby Watson Dead - ■ * Bobby Watson, 5 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. F. I. Watson of Dillsboro, passed away Monday night after an illness of two weeks, complications arising from scarlet fever and diptheria were responsi ble for his death. Altho hope had been held out until yesterday for his recovery. Little Bobby was a familiar and much loved figure in Dillsboro, his father is principal of the Dillsboro school and super intendent of the Baptist Sunday School and his mother one of the leaders of the young people in the community. Besides his parents he is survived by three brothers, Frank Jr.,Hayes and Edward and one sister, Mil dred. Funeral services will be held at the Dillsboro Baptist Church at 2 o’clock today, Rev. J. L. Steele, Pastor, Rev. W. C. Reed and Rev. D. H. Rinehart, pastor of Sylva Methodist Church, will be in charge. Mr. J. C.
