Several of the most promi nent white men in Charleston declar ed that the white and colored chil dren should not attend the stme school. The principal laid the case before the trustees yesterday, and last night they had a meeting. They found the law to be on the side of the colored children; it being that white and col ored children of Indiana shall be fur nished the same facilities for educa tion. They concluded the best way out of the muddle was to establish a ninth grade in the colored school; meanwhile the colored children arc excluded. Children Cry for Pitcher's Castoria.
