Governor's Reception. Last night the Governor's mansion presented an array of fair ladies and chivalric gentlemen, the occasion be ing the revival of the time honored custom of receptions. The Governor received in the parlor and was aided by Mrs. Holt, Mrs. A. W. Haywood, Mrs. 0. B. Wright and Mrs. Land. A nice collation was served followed by dancing. It was a most enjoyable occasion.
