The ship New City (of St. John, N B.), from Taltal, which arrived here today, reports June 20th at 2 p. m., sighfed two iin meuse ice islands, one we ji'dge to be 900 feet high: at 5 p. m. there were nine in sight, some very large; during the night we sighted thirteen; at day' light we counted nineteen from the masthead, one we judgod to be ten miles long and 150 feet high and fiat on top.
