The decorations in the parlor, punch I room, gift room and dining room were i in Japanese effect, lanterns, : parasols and Japanese colors, With trailing Ivey land palms being used. In the dining (room from the central parasol above the handsomely table, there were de pended hundreds of ribbons, and as lliese were drawn the guests received 'unique small wooden animal figures as souvenirs. The effect ot the decor ations were charming. In the punch room a delicious con coction was served by Mrs. Lonnle H. Lumsden and Miss Louise Firmer, the puests being directed to this room by Misses Kuby Lumsden and Mamie White. In the dining room delicious rpfre.-hmerits were served by Mrs. Henry D. Hunch, Miss Emma Cheek, Miss Louise Dughl, Miss Mildred Lrown and Miss Alice Willson. Hie event was delightful throughout and during the reception hours the most charming music was rendered by Levin's orchestra, which gave many i ho ce selections.
