Resolved, That this Convention en dorse the platform adopted by the Na tional People's party at Omaha, July 4, 1892. JUST ONE MORE WORD. Abut a m nth ago we announced that owing to the pressure on us for settlement of the L. L. Polk estate, and the needs we have for cish with which to met t obligations arising from that source, that we would be compelled after this issue to drop all delinquents on our list to day, Sept. 27, 1892. We intended keeping that notice standing until this issue, but br some unexplamable oversight or accident it has been left out since its first insertion and has only appeared one time. e have received many responses to that, but thinking it more than probable that the notice was not seen by many of our true friends who are always ready to respond to any reasonable call, but who hive not done so in this intance; we have decided to extend the time until Oct. 11th. Remember that gives you two weeks longer. If you owe us anything on Oct. 11th you need not blame us if you do not receive the next issue of this paper. We must settle up the accounts against the pa per and against the estate, and we must insist now that we have shown every reasonable readiness to accommodate you, and hold ourt-elves ready to con tinue to do so, and we hope we may be made to rejoice at our receipts duri ing the next two weeks. Now it may be that there are some among you who cannot conveniently send the amount you owe in cash. If so we will make this prop )sition to you: Send us a club of five one year subscribers with $5 c ih, and we will credit your subscrip tion one year. That you in;iy know exactly what you will owe this pnper 011 the 11th day of October, 1S9. you will just run your eye down the column of d.ites in the table below, until you find the date of or nearest to the dace 0:1 your label, and the amount you owe appears in the other column opposite this date. Now, dear friend, we do not desire to drop your nam ;. If you owe more than $1 snd 12 and we mark you up two years. If you owe less than $1 send $1 and we credit you up one year. At least send enough to run you beyond the d;ad line Oct. 11, 1892. See what you owe us aud send in at once. 1891. December 1 .98 January 0-1.79 "t -?
