Julian Efird, Jr., son of Dr and Mrs. L. J. Efird of Tampa. Miss Nicholson, a native of Littleton, attended Randolph-Macon Junior College in Danville, Va. Sire made her home here and in Durham before going to Tampa twc years ago with her mother to make her home with her brother-in-law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. W. B. Hopkins. Mr. Efird was born in Live Oak, but has lived in Tampa since early childhood. He attended Hillsborough high school and was graduated from Plant high school. He was pledged to Alpha Tau Omega fraternity while attending the University of Florida. He is a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and is connected in business with the Jackson Grain Company. Mrs. W. R. Putney and daughter, Miss AyletOe Putney, who have been visiting Mrs. W. H. Johnston and Mrs. Jack Johnston returned Friday to their home in Bedford, Virginia. Dr. W. E. Campbell spent the week end with relatives in Raleigh. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Zaslousky and Misses Irene, Florence and Betty Zaslousky of Baltimore spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Hurwitz. They were accompanied home by Mrs. Hurwitz and son, Theodore, who are now visiting Mr. and Mrs. Zaslousky.
