There were only a few minor changes, so in planning your exhibits, sug gest you study the 1960 book for references. GOOD EATING Just been informed that the Warren Freezer Lockers, Inc., ha? hams for sale now stored in their new ham storage building. When recently writ ing about this valuable asset1 to this plant I failed to men tion that most of the hams In storage at that time were for sale. Hams stored in this build ing are kept at normal out side temperatures so hams can age the same as in your smoke house and guaranteed not to be infested with ham insects. Hams cured country style surely go well at these home demonstration and community club picnics. A few days after the Inez Community Club and Home Demonstration Club had a joint picnic I heard one of the customers mention that the hame was "out of this world". All that can be said here Is that I waited too long to get in line. It is fine that we now have a regular source of hams cur ed country style and that the people of Warren County not producii hogs will be happier "chomping" on such delicious food. ROTARY LAWN MOWERS Just received a very descrip tive article from a former War ren County man on trials and tribulations of a person using a rotary lawn mower. The newspaper editor in all proba bility would censor the article, but would be glad for you to read its contents. It is a "rich" but truthful statement. CROPS LOOKS BETTER Crops have tremendously im proved since August 3. On thatj date a good number of people were eager and ready to use their last dollar to buy a rope and end it all. Today, the crops look so much better the under takers have lost their pleasant expressions to one of gloom and despair. FORESTRY In the picture above you see Graham Home, Warrenton. j looking at a pine tree growing j on lund that just recently grew hardwoods. Mr. Home was pointing to the tree in ex plaining how the pines were established after destroying the hardwood with heavy bush and bog. All of this was taking place on the recent forestry tour held by the Warren Coun- j ty Forestry Club.
