ber until she moved to
New York. She then
joined the Friendship
Baptist Church in
Brooklyn, N. Y. She
later joined the Prince
Memorial Baptist
Church where she
served as Mother of the
Church.
She was first married
to the late George
Wooden and later she
was manned to the late
Robert Davis. To each
union three children
were born.
Mrs. Davis is survived
by six children, Nita
Bland, George Wooden,
Francise Montgomery,
Nannie Farrington, Ella
Walker and Emma
Davis; 18 grand
children, and 13 great
grandchildren.
