"Win! thai in inches or just to the nearest fool?" 9 Warren Plaza News By MARTHA PAGE Rain, rain go away and come again another day, when we need you more than we do now. We ail feel water logged. Our feet haven't been dry in days and we are all very tired of staying inside. I can't ever remember it raining this many days in a row at this time of year. It is usually very dry at this time of year. The grass is growing faster than we can mow lit and everything sure does look pretty and green. Everytime we go outside we can look for ward to getting our heads wet. Maybe there will be some sunshine before the week is over. Birthdays for the month of August in clude: Eugene Taylor, 24; Harvey Richardson, 8; Pattie Arlington, 3; Mina Reid, 14; Thomas Rhodes, 12; Charlie Smith, 5; Michael Williams, 16; and Rosa Lynch, 30. I am sure they would all love to receive a nice birthday card from some of you. I want to remind any of you who are in terested in trying to keep our hospital open to be at the Warren County courthouse on August 15 at 7:30 p. m. to voice your opinions and make your voice heard. This is a very important meeting as the future of the hospital is at stake. We are very fortunate to have two groups that are holding our Sunday afternoon and Thursday worship services. They are working together and have been very faithful in coming every week. They are the South Henderson Church of God and the Refuge Mission Church of Warrenton. These people are here every week, come rain or shine, and the residents all look forward to their coming. They have been a blessing to our residents. We are in bad need of some underclothes for both men and women in all sizes. It is also not going to be long until winter and we will be needing sweaters for all the people here. Please look through your closets and see if you have any clothes that you are not using and bring them to us.
