Littleton Senior Citizens Club Meets Recently By OLLIE ROYSTER J"* Littleton Senior Citizens Club ro« recent ly «t Lakeland Arts Annual Egg Hunt Held By MARTHA PAGE We had our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday and everyone really did en Joy it. The aides hid the eggs while we tried to keep everyone from peeking out the windows to see where they were hidden, and then we let everyone outside and all the eggs were found. We had several vis itors and thoy cheered them on. After the egg hunt we had a party for everyone in the dining room with refreshments being serv ed. Mrs. Henry Fuller and the Home Life Department of Macon Woman's Club furnished goodie bags for everyone and punch was served by the rest home staff. The residents always look forward to Easter and several went home for the holidays. The Davis Allen Gard ner Circle of Warrenton Baptist Church came out and brought us a big box of toiletries to use in the barber shop and for the residents. We appreciate those things and they will be put to good use. We have several peo ple on the sick list this week: Mollie Dye, Flet cher Harrison, Walter Rivers, Blanche Stewart, Eugene Taylor and Pete Hudgins. We want to extend our sympathy to Pete Hudgins and all of his family on the loss of their mother, and also to Clyde Hicks of Hender son on the death of his wife. Mr. Hicks has been our electrician here at the rest home for several years, and we know all of his family. We have had a group from the South Hender son Church of God come on several Sunday after noons and play gospel music for us and the residents really do enjoy them. They were here for services yesterday afternoon and everyone who was able came down to the living room to hear them. The residents enjoy music so much, and we really appreciate their taking time to come out and share their talents with us. We have been very lucky to have groups from all over our area come out and entertain us two and three times a month. Some of these groups visit seven or eight other homes regularly and give so much of themselves to make the residents' days a little brighter. 'Til next week, God bless.
