Gilmer Parrish
Entertains Guests
On Saturday afternoon, April 15
Master Gilmer Parrish. Zebulon. R 2
entertained a number of arty eu sts
<n his eighth birthday. The guests ar
rived at 2:20 o’clock and departed at
5:30.
They placed a number of games
consisting of hide and seek, tox in th(
war, I. yes and no, papei rac< . laugh
ing contest, eleven up. big guinea, 'it
tle guinea, all squat, follow the bade
and William Tremble Toe.
After the games, an Easter egg
hunt was enjoyed b\- all. The fun ot it
was that something was written on
each egg and the finder had to d
what it said. All during the while
there was a roar of laughter among
tlfe children.
When this was over the guests wen
ushered into the dining room by Gil
mer and a delicious course of eggs
i l’s, cakes, pickle and candy was
served.
In a short while the children ex
pressed their appreciation of being
honored guests and lelt for home.
Master Gilmer received a goodly
number of gilts. He also won tht
prize in finding the most eggs. He
found seven.
