Rolesville News Miss Elizabeth Jones spent the week-end in Raleigh with relatives. Mrs. Zeb Williams is visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. I. p. Wimfel, in Atlanta. Mrs. R. C. Perry of Youngsville was the week end guest of Allie B. Bowling. Rev. and Mrs. H. O. Baker were Raleigh visitors Monday. Mrs. J. F. Wharston is visiting her parents at Petersburg, Va. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wright of Raleigh were in Rolesville Sunday. Rev. W. G. Francis of Wake Forest College visited Rev. H. 0 Baker Saturday. Charles Leonard of Wake Forest College, son of Misionary Leonard, spoke at the Baptist church Sun day evening on the “What Religion means to the Chinese.’’ We are very sorry to say that Mrs. Roy Wall and Mrs. L. S. Rog ers are sick. Union Chapel Beginning Sunday our Sunday school will be at 10 a. m; preaching every 2nd Sunday 11 a. m.; fourth Sunday as usual. Miss Estell Richards returned home Sunday from a visit to her cousins, Misses Olivia and Kath leen Duke of Hopkins Chapel sec tion. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Hudson spent one day last week with relatives in Sampson county. Mr. and Ms. B. B. Richards’ guests Sunday p. m. were: Mr. and Mrs. B. K. Gay and little son, of Pearce’s, and Mrs. D. A. Duke and children. Mrs. Howard Pearce spen Sun day in Durham at Duke Hospital, with Mr. Pearce who is ill there. His friends will be glad to know he will soon return. We are glad to know Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Allen are up and about after being sick several days. Misses Estell and Sybil Pearce of Mitchell’s Mill were at services at the church Sunday, and were the supper guests of their sister, Mrs. Wiley Bohbitt. Mrs. Nell Hopkins and children of Bunn were visitors in our com munity Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. V. Whittington of Fuquay Springs were guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Pate. South Side News We are sorry to know Mrs. Hill Price is sick. Hope she will soon be well again. We are glad to know that Mrs. Swanson is ismproving. Mr. Link Cox made a business trip to Raleigh Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Vester Pulley spent the week end with Mrs. Pulley’s parents near Sims.
