CAUSE FOR WONDER The “Old Reliable” on last Sun day morning introduced a front page article with a paragraph stat ing that congress had adjourned and the fighting factions of the Democrats went home “wondering if the parties’ once sold majorities had been split beyond repair.” Os course what was meant was the once “solid” majorities, but the typographical error was suggestive to say the least, indicating that some of them might not stay sold. COLORED NEWS There will be a program at the Zebulon First Baptist Church Sunday, August 29. The program begins at 1:30 P. M. Quartette and choir singing. All churches are cor diallv invited to attend and hear the lectures. Topic: “The use of \ the Missionary Circle in the j Church”. Mrs. J. A. Gresham, Pres. Mrs. E. V. Wiliams, Secy.
