Page Six Bride-Elect Honored At Bridge Party Mesdames Ralph W. Talton and Howard H. Beck were hostesses at bridge, Wednesday evening, at the home of Mrs. Talton in Zebulon, complimenting Miss Dorothy Davis, bride-elect of June, and Mrs. Joseph Florence, 111, recent bride, of Norfolk. Roses, hydran geas and magnolias were used to decorate the entire home. Each of the honorees received corsages of white carnations. Mrs. Kemp Entertains At Bridge Recently Mrs. Frank Kemp was a recent hostess when she entertained at three tables of bridge at the home of Mrs. Irby Gill in Zebulon. Mix ed summer flowers were used throughout the home. Following several progressions, floating high and low score awards were presented to Mes dames Charles E. The Scouts will leave Saturday, June 5, at 5:00 for W r hite Lake on Mr. Roy Joyner’s truck. Mr. Riggsbee Massey has offered his pickup to help carry the Scouting equipment, and if the pickup goes along the whole troop can make the trip. Billy McKay has passed his I Tenderfoot examination and will soon be taken into the troop. Baseball practice will be held Sunday afternoon beginning at 1:30 on the Wakelon diamond. -
