Friday, May 27, 1949 Announce Birth Mr. and Mrs. K. D. Kennedy, of Wilson, announce the birth of a laughter, Susan Barrow, on May 19 at Carolina General Hospital in Wilson. Mrs. Kennedy is the form er Miss Dorothy Barrow of Zebu ton, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Barrow, Sr. Correction In reporting the contributions to the Cancer Drive last week, the name of Wakelon Drug Company was omitted from the stores who gave 100 percent. Mrs. Chas. Flowers Honor Bride-elect Miss Lillian Talton, bride-elect, was honored with a bridge party by Mesdames Howard Beck and Charles Hawkins, Jr., in Mrs. Beck's home on North Street. High score prize was won by Mrs. Charles Flowers, and second | high by Mrs. P. O. Farmer, Jr. The floating prize was won by Mrs. Ralph Talton and the low score by Mrs. Raleigh Alford. Mrs. Claud Pippin received a gift. Guests were Miss Lillian Talton; Mesdames Ralph Talton, mother of the honoree; Claud Pippin, J. R. Sawyer, P. O.
