Friday, December 2, 1949 PLEASANT HILL NEWS At this writing we have a per fect day. The sun is out in all its glory, not too cold. Our attendance was not so good Sunday. We don’t know just why for it was a beautiful day. We had a good lesson and sermon you don’t know what you miss when you stay away from church service. We had a sunrise sermon Thanksgiving morning with fiO or more present. All who stayed at home missed a beautiful scene. You know Heohzibah Church is located on a hdl on Highway fi4. between ''"endel 1 and Raleigh, iust a few miles from Wendell. When the sun ravs came in through the windows across the pulnit and our pastor in his place and Alease. his daughter, at the niano. the conere gation looked at each other and then at the sunshine. We had several son"s and a prayer. Then our pastor read the 100th Psalm. More sonms and then a Thanksgiv ing offerin'*. Another scripture readm", I have forgotten what chapter, and our last song was “Count v o’tr Blessings.” We wish all could have been there. Tt was really good. We are so-rv Mr. Dewey Mar tin is not rmttm'* along so weH. He had be°n orient for Rundav School for cpv°n vears. If not at his homo church he was in some other church. Pleasurable —in the wide, wide outlook that’s yours, and the inner satisfaction of having a Buick for your very own. And we might add another thing, just byway of being practical. It’s rugal too. Frugal in a first cost that's actually less than for some sixes. Frugal in the surprising way such a sizable car gives the go-by to gis pumps. And if you have Dynaflow, frugal even in many upkeep costs you can forget about —such as clutch troubles, trans mission maintenance, even many engine servicing costs. Why not put yourself into one of these jet lined beauties right now? It’s more easily managed than you might imagine as you’ll see by talking to your Buick dealer. * Optional at extra cost.
