Eight Brides and Mother Honored at Showers A miscellaneous shower was given Saturday night by Mrs. Jack Ellington, Mrs. Junie Upchurch, and Mrs. David Stephenson in the home of Mrs. Jack Ellington honr ing their sister, Miss Susan Stal lings, bride-elect of Zebulon. White glads decorated the home, and the hostesses gave the honor ee a corsage of white carnations. A color motif of green and white, was used in the dining room. Several games were played. Prizs wre presented to Mrs. B. K. Gay, Mrs. Sam Gay, Jr., and Mrs. Billy Yeargin. Delicious refreshments of chick en salad sandwiches, doughnuts, potato chips, and Coca-Cola were served by the hostesses. The honoree then opened the many gifts she received. Approxi mately 35 guests were present. • A miscellaneous shower was given Tuesday by Mrs. Williford Gay at her home honoring her daughter, Miss Christina Gay, May bride-elect. Mixed spring flowers decorated the home. The hostes gasve the honoree a corsage of white carnations. A color motif of green and white was used in the dining room. Several games were played. Prizes were presented to Mrs. A. C. Perry, Mrs. J. W. Perry, and Mrs. J. T. Johnson. The hostesses served delicious refreshments of ice cream and cake, mints, and lime ice.
