I wish to clarify it in this manner. The Federal purchased and con trolled vaccine referred to as the smaller portion in my article is I distributed through the State Board of Health to local health de- I partments. All other vaccine so far as I know is distributed by the manu facturers through wholesale houses and drugstore channels to the med ical profession and this amount has nothing to do with the Federal purchased and controlled vaccine sent to the local health depart ment. Marine Graduate Marine Cpl. Charles J. Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie A. Jones of Route 1, Zebulon, was graduated September 30 from the 2nd Marine Division’s Non-com missioned Officer Leadership School at Camp Lejeune. The four-week course covered military tactics, military bearing, leadership, and the use of infan try weapons. The total value of all cattle on farms in North Carolina the first of the year was set at over 59Vfe million dollars, or about 12 per cent less than a year earlier.
