Edenton, Oct. 30- In an automobile
accident near here at noon yesterday,
August Hughes, a well-known general
merchant, was instantly killed; Julian
Braddle was seriously injured and Hay
ward Hughes lost an eye.
August nughes was driving the car
and going at a rapid rate of speed, when
the machine skidded into a ditch and
turned turtle. The driver's neck was
broken.
