It was rumored around on the campus Tuesday night and Wednesday that "Sheriff" Suggs had been elected con stable of Chapel Hill. This was. however, a mistake. Mr. Suggs stated in an interview that his name was run for magistrate on the Republican tick et, and that while he was not elected yet, that he led his ticket. Mr. Suggs further stated that his name was run entirely against his will, but that at some future date he intends to get things in shape and make a run for that position.
