The county agent's office hopes the visit by the Georgia men is the first of many. Mr. Fagg said the mechanics of the program were explained to the men as they drove over the county to the individual communities. In the Home Economics fea ture of the field day, Miss Mil dred Childers won second place In Cooking (Class B), and Miss Mary Evelyn Cabe, second In Dress Review (Class C). No. 1 and talks with the S.B.I., his son's widow, and other officers :hanged his feelings. "I think the S.B.I. did an ex cellent job to clearing up Bill's death . . they have my thanks", he said. MRSHURSf DIES MONDAY AT HER HOME Rites For Macon Native Conducted At Ridgecrest Mrs. Ella M. Hurst, widow of Horace J. Hurst, died Monday at 4:45 p. m. at her home in Franklin following an illness of three months. Funeral services for Mrs. Hurst, who was a native of this county, were conducted yester day (Wednesday) afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Ridgecrest Bap tist Church, of which she was a member. Officiating were the Rev. Lee Crawford and the Rev. M w. Chapman. Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. Born July 29, 1887, Mrs. Hurst was the daughter of David and Mrs. Rebecca Angel Miller. She and Mr. Hurst, who died in 1945, were married in 1908. She is survived by a son, Hen ry Hurst, of Franklin, a daugh ter, Mrs. W. J. Mason, also of Franklin, and nine grandchil dren. Serving as pallbearers were Dover Miller, G. D. Hedden, Leonard Miller, Jack Holcombe, Tom Johnson, and Elbert Angel. Bryant Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
