Marries Sunday CEREMONY AT SNOW HILL ? ? ? i ? r\ 1. nr 1 Miss Josephine uaiton weds Bobby Joe Corbin Sunday Afternoon Miss Selma Josephine Daltor became the bride of Bobby Jot Corbin. son of Mr. and Mrs. Free J. Corbin, Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the Snow Hill Meth odist Church. The bride is the daughter ol Mr. and Mrs. Joel M. Dalton, of Franklin . Her father gave her in marriage. The Rev. L. Paul Heafner, pas tor, officiated. Mrs. Henry W Cabe, pianist, and Mrs. Charles Gidney, soloist, presented a. pro gram of wedding music. The bride's gown was a Mariam original of imported Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over slipper satin, fashioned with a sabrina neckline, and long sleeves tapering to deep points over the hands. The boufiant skirt was appliqued with lace motifs. Her fingertip veil of impored silk illusion fell from imported silk illusion fell from white Bible topped with a white orchid and showered with satin streamers and blue delphinium. She was attended by Miss Betty Marston, of Old Fort, as maid of honor, and Miss Ann McGirt, of Laurinburg, and Miss Mary Hale, of Wilmington, as bridesmaids The attendants wore cocktail length dresses of copen blue silk organza over taffetta, styled along princess lines, accented at thf back with floating panels. Her dress was a miniature copy of the bridesmaids' dresses in match ing shade. She cai .ed a white i basket filled with pink rosebuds. Harry Corbin, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers ? were Fredrick Corbin, of Mars Hill, and Kenneth Corbin, of Washington, D. C? also brothers of the bridegroom. Mrs. Dalton, mother of'the bride wore a dress of dior blue chiffon and a matching hat, with which she wore navy blue accessories. Her corsage was white carnations. Mrs. Corbin, mother of the bridegroom, was attired in a dress of navy blue chiffon with which she wore navy and black acces sories. Her flowers were white carnations. Immediately following the cere mony, the couple received guests in the vestibule of the church. The bride is a graduate of West ern Carolina College and is a faculty member of the Macon County Schools. Mr. Corbin, who attend N. C. | State College and Western Caro | lina College, served in the U. S. ; Army. He is now employed by the . Bank of Franklin. Upon their return from a short wedding trip, the couple will be ' at home in Franklin. A number of out of town guests I attended the wedding. Rehearsal Party Immediately following the re hearsal Saturday evening, a cake cutting was held at the home ol the bride. The bride's table was covered with a white hemstitched irlst linen cloth. The table held a three-tier cake and a crystal punch bowl, flanked by tall, white light ed candles. Assisting in serving were Mrs John Kusterer, aunt of the bride Mrs. George Byrd, and Mrs. Et Brogden. MISS WELCH BRIDE OF TOMMY CROSS Miss Lou Ellen Welch, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Welch of Franklin, was married to Tom my Cross, son of Mr. and Mrs Clifford Cross, of Nantahala, Ma: 30 in Walhalla, S.
