Along The -Way In Carson Community MRS. HAROLD BROOKSHIRL Staff Correspondent Telephone LA 4-2730 $100 Ahead At a business meeting Thurs day night at Carson Community Building, it was reported that the 1 Carson Cloggers have earned and saved $100, which they will use | to help charter a bus from Ashe- ' ville to Raleigh to "State 4-H Club Week" in July. Each of the sixteen members on the dance team will also need $15 to pay personal expenses there for a week. Rather than ask par ents for this money, since they must buy 4-H uniforms and dance costumes, members have voted to work and save. Some of the services they offer are baby sitting, cars washed, (Indian Mound Serv ice Station on Fridays, July 10 and 17), windows washed, lawns mowed, or cakes baked. They also sell PRESS subscriptions, 4-H cookies, and souvenirs. Members of the team to contact are Mary Jo Waldroop, Jean Dills. Sandra Norton. Suzanne Cunningham, Margaret Cowart, Ronnie Wal droop, Steve Cabe, Qary, Phillips, and Eddie Moses. Members who have already earned their $16 by winning 4-H demonstrations ar? Peggy Dills and Brenda Cunning ham. Personals FORD DEALER'S -CAUSED CAR Shopping Center 1958 Chevrolet Biscayne 4 dr., V-8, powergGde, radio and heater.
