No. 5 officially in charge until July 1. Rotarians present heard a talk by Mr. Tennent, who was introduced by John M. Archer, Jr. Mr. Tennent served as In ternational president in 1957-58. During his term he was deco rated by the governments of Brazil, Chile and Ecuador. He is presently Chairman of the Rotary Foundation trustees, is listed in Who's Who in Amer ica, and owns Tennent Nurser ies in Asheville where he is a member and past president of the Asheville Rotary Club. Mr. Tennent, who Is known by his nickname, "Buzz", where ever he goes, spoke to the club about his world travels as in ternational president and told how in every corner of the world he found Individuals whose lives were a practical application of "the noble but simple concept of Rotary." That concept, he explained, is "thoughtfulness of, and serv ice to others.
