W. Angel, Jr., with Mrs. T. M. McNish in charge of the program. The general meeting will be held Thursday, December 8, at 2 p. m. at the church. Till 12:00 Saturday IN PHOENIX, ARIZ. ? > Mrs. Daley, Native, Dies On November 5 Mrs. Jeanette Moses Daley, a Macon County native who gained prominence in politics in southern California, died of a heart attack at her home in Phoenix, Ariz., on November 5, it has been learned here. Daughter of the late Pierce and Mrs. Charlotte Owen Mos es, of the Hlgdonvllle commu nity, Mrs. Daley left here at an early age for Clalfornia. : She served three terms as a state assembly woman repre senting the City of 8an Diego. Mrs. Daley was married to George R. Daley, of San Diego, and took an active part in the j operation of Daley Contracting Company. In recent years, Mrs. Daley made her home in Phoenix and she visited relatives here sev eral times in the past year. This summer, she donated a home for Girls Ranch in Mesa, Ariz., an organization of which she served as first president. Girls Ranch, organized In J955. offers a home and guidance and counseling to teen-age girls. Funeral services for Mrs. Daley were held November 10 at the Lee Moore Funeral Home in Phoenix. Dr. Ivan B. Bell, pastor of the First Bap tist Church, and members of the Eastern Star, Chapter 5. of ficiated. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery in the Greenwood Memorial Park there. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Julia Peterson and Mrs. Camley Ryan, both of Campo, Calif., and three brothers, An cel T. Moses, of Los Angeles, thd Lewis Moses and Lorentz Moses, both of Franklin.
