Mrs. Welch will come home from Jackson County for this meeting and would like to see all of the club members. This Is the annual Christmas meeting and it will begin at 10 a. m. Following the election of officers, there will be a Christ mas program and exchange of gifts. Members will take a cov ered dish for a potluck dinner at the noon hour. Church News "Week of Prayer" for foreign missions is being observed this week by the W.M.U. of Co wee Baptist Church with meetings Tuesday through Friday. Both "Circles met with Mrs. T. M. Rickman on Tuesday and at the church on Wednesday. The Jennie Ray Circle meets at the church Thursday after noon and both Circles will meet with Mrs. Li llie Duvall on Friday night. Last Friday, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Raby and son, Randy, and Tommy Raby accompanied Burke Cole to the Veterans Hospital at Swannanoa . where Mr. Cole is undergoing treat ment. Miss Claudette Leatherman returned to Woman's College. Greensboro, Sunday after spending the Thanskgiving holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Leatherman. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Monteith, of Bryson city, visited Mrs. Monteith's sister, Mrs. Arthur Shepherd, and Mr. Shepherd and family last Sunday.
