A former custom of having a
picnic dinner at Hom’ecoming was
revived this year and a picnic
table in the grove adjoining the
home was spread with a bounti
ful dinner with visitors, faculty
members, and children enjoying
the feast together.

his home in Birmingham, Ala.,

low, Monday through Friday.
There will be special music
throughout the week.
The Rev. Mr. Gilmore, who
lives near Pinehurst, is pastor of
four Baptist Churches in this area
—Pleasant Hill, Laurel Hill, Beu
lah Hill and Sximmer Hill. Pleas
ant Hill Church opened in March,
1954, and has shown a steady
growth. Sunday School attend
ance last Sunday was 71. the pas
tor reported.
