transportation and sale of liquor on
American vessels wherever operated,
ana the presence of liquor on foreign
ships anywhere within American ter
ritorial waters.
The suggestion is made that Con
gress may be asked to take up the
bill Introduced over a year ago
which would permit American pas
senger ships engaged in foreign com
merce to sell liquor beyond the three
mile limit. The Anti-Saloon League
vigorously opposed the measure.
