C.—^All records have been broken by the railwfiys of the South in the movement of the high tide of commerce that continues throughout the territory served by them, according to figures, covering the jmovement of ears of comniorcial freight loaded during the six weeks’ period from July eleventh to August twenty-first, announced today by the Car Service Commission of the Amer ican Railroad Asscciatfon. During each week of the six weeks’ period there were leaded at stations on the failways of the SouCh more cars of commercial freight than were load ed during the corresponding week of| either nineteen nineteen or nineteen eighteen. The total number of cars loaded during the six weeks fhi'3 year was 795,"97 as against 716,294 for the same period in 1019 and 737,904 in 1918 when every nen.’e was straiiied to move the traffic iucsdent to the war.
