A met in the auditorium of the schoolhouse, on Tuesday March 6th. The topic under discussion was ways and means to raise, money for school commencement and for play ground equipment. The Community Club sewing circle met with Mrs. .' E. , R. Gilbert, on Thursday March 8th. Twenty min utes are given over during these meetings to a Bible study class con ducted by Mrs. S. T. Marett, who is a well informed student". , Mrs. Sarah Parker Ellis and Mrs. Lyles Harris paid Highlands a visit on Friday, Mrs. Ellis is Home Demon strator for Western North .Carolina and came tip to talk to the 4-H club girls. Mrs. Ellis, has a charming personality and spoke 'most interest ingly on her subject, impressing all present with the importance of the work she is doing and what it will mean to our girls.- Already fifteen girls have joined and they are looking forward., not only to a profitable sum mer but to lots of good times and fun along with it all.
