Your daugh ter's check for September, the one that is received in the mail about October 3, would be the last she is entitled to receive. Artd dont forget to report her marriage to your social security office, so she won't be overpaid. Q I intend to move to another State in the next few months. When should I report my change of address? A To avoid any delay in the receipt of your social security checks, notify the social security office before the middle of the month in which you expect to move, so your check will arrive on time next month at your new address. Be sure to notify the post office of your change of ad dress also, so your check can be forwarded if your new address did not reach us in time. Q Can I telephone the social security office to tell them my new address? A No. A notice of change of address must be in writing. It should be signed by the person to whose order the check is made out. Be sure to place your claim number on the correspondence. 0 My husband died and I re ceive benefits for myself and my son.
