He is and majorina in business admint The annual Farmers Federation stockholders' meeting for Haywood county will be held in the Waynes ville warehouse of the organization at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, it has been announced by offi cials of the organization. Stockholders of the Farmers Fed eration in this County will attend the annual meeting for the elec tion of committeemen and the nomination of one director, it was announced. The director nominated at this meeting will be Voted upon at the annual meeting of all stock-, holders of the organization in the Buncoribe county courthouse on March 25. Each director of the Fed eration i elected for two years in such manner that one director comes up for elecliqn each year, itj was stated. A specialist on pasture improve ment from State College will at tend this year's meeting to explain the pasture improvement program it was stated. James G. K. Mc Clure, president of the Federation, has been named by Governor Scott as a member of a steering committee on Pasture Improve ment in North Carolina. The present directors for Hay wood county are H. Mrs. Jane Dolan v Dies Here After Long Illness Mrs. Jane Hammltt Dolan of Clarksdale, Mississippi and a sum mer resident of Waynesville, died here Tuesday after a long illness. Funeral services were held Wed nesday morning in St. John's Church. Pallbearers were the following laymen of the church; Marion Hol- her home in the Cove Creek section of Haywood, County after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Fri day at 3 P. M. in Cove Creek Bap tist Church and burial will be In Davis Cemetery. Surviving, in addition to the hus band, are one daughter, Miss Myr tle Price, and two sons, Glenn and Virgil Price, all of Cove Creek. The body wil be taken to the home Thursday at I P, M. and re main there until the funeral hour. Garrett Funeral Home is in charge. Prayer Meet Set For Maple Grove A weekly prayer meeting will be held Friday night at the Maple Grove Baptist Church.
