Lord's Acre Plan Raises Funds For Spring Hill Church Members of the Spring Hill Baptist Church plan to use the Lord's Acre plan to supplement the financing of their new church. Both group and individual projects are being organized. First receipt from the program was $60 from the sale of a calf. Ten persons have reported dedicat ing calves as individual projects. These calves are to be sold for veal' and the proceeds given to the church. One person has dedicated a stand of timber. Two ladies are planning bean patches, and one is dedicating a pig. Two group projects have been planned thus far. Paul Ledbetter has offered the use of ah acre of land, mid Earl Clark has offered the use Of five acres. These will be planted to corn and potatoes. , Work on the new structure is now in progress. The carpenters are .putting, up rafters this week, and it is hoped that the roof will be on by the end of themohth. WTHS Chorus In j Spring Hill taster concert p. Driver's license examiners of the North Carolina Department of Mo tor Vehicles issued a total of 25, 970 driver's licenses during Feb ruary, the Department reported to day.
