On the other snore Moses hkhmi stretched forth his hand over the ea, and the waters returned in all their strength and overpow ered all the hosts of Egypt-their horsemen, chariots, all drowned. Then Moses and the children of Israel rejoiced and sang: "I will sing unto the Lord, for He hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath He thrown into the sea. "The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salva tion: He is my God, and I will prepare Him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt Him." "And Miriam, the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances." So Moses brought the children of Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur, where they found only a bitter stream of water to drink. Again the people murmured against Moses, asking him what they should drin The Lord showed him a tree, which, when he had thrown it into the water, it sweetened the water and made it fit to drink. Cars were unloaded, freight was transferred to the river boats. Then across stveanvcars wci.ofldcd.m4 tfie railroad continued its trrk to the next river. But man discovered how to lay tracks on the river. With the coming of the train barge, freight stayed on the rails and was guided across the river. In everyday life there are countless obstacles which seem to defy human ingenuity. A man is tempted to abandon the "tracks" he has followed, believing he cannot go on. But usually the solution to these problems is just as simple as "laying tracks on the river." Stay on the rails and be guided across. The Church will help you live by Christian principles. And in the face of a crisis, be true to those principles and depend on the guidance of God. THE CHURCH FOR ALT AT.I. Fnn tt iuun of char,, ,.. :: 'K'lor.on -: I" , .. , " 11 o 'irniui v, i hi, vvi .
